Nice bike for being 25 years old - Ready to ride or take the repairs to the next level and apply for collector plates.
All plastics are there - and all show their age - show me a 25 year old sport bike that has not gone down a few times. I believe I am at least the third owner. the last owner bought it in rough condition and did a little - said it should run and after some effort I made it run - Rode it last summer with the intention of fixing it some more - but life got in the way and I have just gotten back to it again.
Last year it got carbs rebuilt and new carb boots/ filters and all maintenance was done. New Leather on the seats - this year it got nice new straight handlebars and the last of the fairings assembled. Respectable from a distance and some conversational blemishes to yak about at the stops.
I have soft saddle bags that could go with the bike - also if you are a large fellow I also have an XL Dayglow yellow Kilimanjaro Jacket like new ($250) and an XXL large Black Shoei full coverage Helmet ($300) ICBC paid $800 for it a few years back. Yes there's a story there too!
