This 1993 GMC Suburban 3/4 ton heavy was built for hauling my boat and moose caboose. Power is from an Ed James built 1969 427 big block, headers, dual exhaust. Transmission is a GM 4L80E, rear diff is possi. New gas tank (biggest available). Wheels are Eagle Alloy 16"x8" aluminum 8 stud, Has new shocks, in-line adjustable fuel pressure regulator, K&N air filter, thick core all aluminum radiator with dual cooling fans, volts & manifold vacuum aftermarket gauges.
Captain chairs and all leather interior, sound system, larger speakers, woofer, driver.
OK, so what's wrong. Well, rust can't be seen as yet but is starting, the drivers side rear shock tower mount has rusted away, needs a heater core, transmission works well but is going to need a rebuild soon and needs muffler, brakes & tires.
I'd like to see it restored to its earlier glory because there's little out there that will pull a trailer as well.
