Ultra rare 1949 merc/Ford resto mod
This truck was designed to be a excellent daily driver some of the features of this build are Mustang 2 front clip, power steering, power brakes and disc brakes upfront. This truck has a rare 351 Cleveland mated to a complete high performance rebuilt
Automatic C4 transmission. This was done without cutting the firewall with a smaller bell housing. GM steering columnThree on the tree with tilt, The cab and body were dismantled while we worked on the frame. The frame was boxed in all the way to the back and reinforced with crossmembers. The fuel tank was moved to the rear of the frame which is much safer than behind the seat. a red top battery sealed custom mounted behind the seat with a very nice sound system for the interior. It has a 8 inch rear end with new rear drum brakes, new shocks and custom tracking arms. The bench seat has been redone and is out of a 1989 S10. this seat also has heating elements with switches. Truck has new a basic heating system upgraded windshield wiper motor 12V, complete with new painless wiring harness system. a custom power window system with converted full glass. Custom billet gauge console cluster with brand new dolphin gauges. The ultra cool classic torque thrust 2 polished aluminum wheels 18 in the front and 20s in the back, new low profile, performance tires. this truck is fantastic as it is or take it another step further and make it show quality, over 500 hours in this truck to build.truck has been in storage.
