Built and first owned by ex-Kiwi David Johnston. Johnston - owner of FCI Industries (Ferro Cement Industries) a highly respected builder of docks, pontoons and other ferro-cement products. Built to a Frank Carus design at Richmond, BC. Sailed to New Zealand, sailed the Southern Pacific, sailed back to Canada via Cape Horn, Caribbean and Panama Canal. Chartered in 1985 year, then refurbished 1993 and sailed locally. She sailed Campbell River to Panama and back 2003/4, then used as a part-time live-aboard and local sailing for 8 years.
